Bridge Minecraft and Discord

One conversation. Two platforms.

Relay server chat to Discord in real time so players talk across the game and the guild.

Minecraft chat

<Steve> anyone online for nether?

<Alex> omw, 1 min

<Mira> bringing potions — meet at portal

<Steve> portal is lit, don't die

How it works

Three moves. Then the chat is shared.

Install

Live Chat is its own Paper plugin. You drop it on the server — it does not come bundled with the Fliver API plugin.

Connect

Point a Discord channel at the server. Guild chat and in-game chat become two views of one room.

Talk

A message typed in either place shows up in the other, with the name of the person who sent it.

Why it exists

Cross-play chat without a second client.

Relay, not a digest

A message typed in game shows up in the guild channel as it happens. The other direction is the same thread, not a delayed dump.

One conversation

Players do not keep two tabs in their head. Minecraft say and Discord send land in the same room, attributed to the person who typed it.

Its own plugin

Live Chat is a separate Paper plugin. You install it on the server; it is not a feature you turn on inside the Fliver API plugin.

Open source

The plugin lives in public.

Live Chat is its own Paper plugin — a separate install from the Fliver API plugin. The repository is public under Fliver-OSP.
